About our headliner: Kasador
Kingston, Ontario band Kasador have never been scared of change. And the three friends at Kasador’s core—Cameron Wyatt (vocals/guitar), Boris Baker (bass), and Stephen Adubofuor (drums)—have been through a lot of it.
They’ve woven years of tumult through their mid- and late-20s into something powerful and real: a tight-knit, sincere, and caring rock and roll band hitting full sprint, with their new full-length record about youth, memory, relationships, and how the relentless passage of time shapes and constantly reshapes all of those things. It’s a bright, punkish, emotional guitar-rock record that ultimately tracks the process of learning to be okay with not being okay.
After sharing stages with Arkells, July Talk, Sam Roberts Band and The Glorious Sons, and racking up 350,000 spins of their 2019 debut full-length in six months, Kasador recorded their new LP ‘Youth’ with The Glorious Sons’ Brett Emmons producing and Nyles Spencer (Half Moon Run, July Talk) engineering. Vic Florencia (Olivia Rodrigo, Jason Mraz, Five For Fighting) mixed the record and Peter Letros (Beyonce, Duran Duran) mastered.
The result on record is an essential document of a band realizing that things won’t—can’t—last forever, and how to make sense of the gap between youthful dreams and very adult realities. It’s all the more reason that the band is ready to burst out of the gate and storm stages across North America with Youth: nothing lasts forever.

The Rambles
The Rambles are a tight-knit quartet that lives and breathes the essence of rock. Born from a shared love for music and fueled by a relentless passion for their craft, The Rambles find inspiration in the bluesy allure of The Black Keys, the indie-rock brilliance of The Arctic Monkeys, the gritty vibes of The White Stripes, the sonic innovation of St. Vincent, the modern old-school of The Sheepdogs, and the Canadian rock excellence of Sloan and The Trews.
Their diverse influences create a unique, textured sound that gets audiences singing, dancing, and embracing the essence of Canadian rock. With their debut EP set for June 2024, the journey has only just begun for The Rambles.

Almyr Jules
Hailing from Ottawa, Ontario, Almyr Jules is a dynamic singer-songwriter who is rapidly gaining recognition both within his local scene and on the global stage. Born in the 1990s, he carries a profound affection for 90s R&B and the funk sounds of the 60s and 70s.
Guided by his genuine passion for music and armed with inspirations like Leon Bridges, Alec Benjamin, Allen Stone, and Bruno Mars, Almyr Jules has carved out a distinct musical path for himself. At the core of Almyr's musical journey lies a deep conviction in the power of storytelling. His compositions resonate on a profound level, allowing him to establish authentic connections with his audience. His lyrics are a reflection of relatable experiences, and he considers it an honour to touch hearts and minds through his music.

Hopper
Hopper is an Ottawa based indie rock band. Composed of members from other local Ottawa bands such as Silver the Young, Swim Team and PINE, Hopper brings a strong, energetic live show.
Hopper’s music takes influence from some classic indie legends such as The Killers, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys among others and adds a modern twist.

Lazzy Lung
Lazzy Lung is an award-winning rock band formerly based in Beirut, Lebanon for nearly 2 decades. Many bar tabs later, they are 3 albums deep and have toured different parts of the world as seen in the 2013 documentary “Kids like you and Me” alongside the Black Lips.
